On Wednesday, the $3,500 Wynn Millions Main Event continued with Day 3, which saw 157 players from a 1,314-entry field return to action. After five 90-minute levels of play, just 52 players remained with Calvin Anderson and his stack of 3,275,000 leading the way.
Others still in contention for the $654,637 first-place prize are Joseph Sabe (2,495,000), Cliff Ziff (2,485,000), Michael Dyer (2,205,000) and Zachary Donovan (2,070,000), who round out the top five counts.

A $4,171,950 prize pool was up for grabs to the top 134 finishers, which meant 23 players left empty handed including David “Bakes” Baker, Ryan Riess, Jesse Lonis, Chance Kornuth and bubble boy James Calderaro, who busted after running pocket queens into the kings of Vuong Do.
Some of those to cash but fail to survive the night were Kathy Liebert (128th - $8,386), Vanessa Kade (113th - $9,056), Lily Kiletto (109th - $9,056), Evan Sandberg (104th - $9,808), Rick Biever (92nd - $10,642), Kevin Javier (86th - $11,600), Nick Palma (63rd - $14,036), and Marty Mathis (62nd - $15,509).
As for 2021 Wynn Millions Main Event Champion Andrew Moreno, he built a stack on Day 2c and was cruising for much of Day 3 until some unfortunate hands didn't go his way and he was left short to move in with king-jack. Paul Snead woke up with ace-jack and when the board ran out ace-high, Snead sent Moreno out in 100th place for $9,808.

The action was picked up in a massive heads-up pot with just over 400,000 in the middle on a completed board of . Calvin Anderson checked from the big blind over to Michael Dyer in early position who bet out 400,000.
Anderson went in the tank, but after close to 30 seconds, announced all in for just over 2,000,000. Dyer went deep in to thought, contemplating for his remaining 1,200,000. In the end Dyer made the fold and Anderson cemented his chip lead with a few hands to go.

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading , Cliff Ziff and Michael Rossitto were heads-up in a pot with around 300,000 in the middle. Rossitto led out with a bet of 200,000 from the small blind and Ziff called from the big blind.
The completed the board and Rossitto slid out a bet of 500,000. Ziff snap-called and turned over which got a quick concession from Rossitto.

With play winding down for the night, Jake Schwartz raised to 30,000 in the cutoff. The button moved all in for his last 245,000 which got the blinds to fold but Schwartz quickly called.

Duane Blanchard opened the action to 30,000 from the hijack and only the player in the big blind made the call.
The flop came and both players checked their options to the turn. The big blind led out for 25,000 and Blanchard took some time before tossing in the chips for a call.
On the river the big blind slowed down with a check and Blanchard quickly tapped the table to check back. The big blind announced two pair but mucked their hand when Blanchard rolled over for a better two pair to take the pot.

Joseph Sabe was running away with the chip lead and he nearly added more to his stack after Kristen Deardorff shoved all in for 240,000 from the hijack. Sabe called from the big blind and was in great shape.

The flop of provided no immediate help for Deardorff who was looking for an ace. The on the turn gave her a straight draw but it was the on the river that kept Deardorff in the tournament and slowed down Sabe.

Seth Fischer was down to just 125,000 and moved all in from the hijack. John Ypma flat-called in the cutoff and Zachary Donovan three-bet to 350,000 in the small blind. Ypma gave it some thought but decided to get out of the way.
