Day 3 of Event #46: $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em Championship has concluded here at the Horseshoe Las Vegas, after ten levels of play. Of the 208 runners who started the day, only 26 players will return for Day 4, all of whom have locked up at least $28,444, of the $6,999,520 prize pool.

After three days of poker, less than one percent of the field is left standing from the 7,954 entrants that began on Day 1. The remaining competitors all have their eyes on the $677,326 first place prize, as well as the coveted World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelet.

The chip leader heading into Day 4 is Marc Wolpert (17,900,000), who made a deep run in the 2019 Seniors Championship, finishing in 34th. He began to heat up late in the day by picking off a bluff to propel his stack over the 10,000,000 mark. From there he never looked back, and hopes to continue that momentum with just three tables left.

Wolpert is no stranger to closing out tournaments, having recorded ten first place finishes in smaller buy-in events according to The Hendon Mob, including a recent win in a seniors event back in March. He looks to follow that up with his first WSOP title, along with the prestigious bracelet.
