Caesars Indiana Championship Event

Day 2 Completed

The WSOP Circuit Indiana is Over!

That will do it for the WSOP Circuit at Caesars Indiana. This will be the last circuit at Caesars Indiana, as this location is due to undergo a name change in the near future to the Horseshoe. The next time the circuit event will be held here, it will be the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe. Just make sure all the horseshoes are pointing upward - otherwise the luck runs out.

Our thanks to all the dealers, staff, tournament directors, and personnel involved in this event. From PokerNews, this is Steve Horton, and we'll see you at the next event!

Wilber Futhey Wins!

Steven Merrifield raises to 40,000 and Wilbur Futhey is all in. Merrifield insta-calls with {A-Spades}{10-Clubs} to Futhey's {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}. The board is {6-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Merrifield erupts at the ten, but the river is the game-ending {J-Clubs} for the straight.

Wilbur Futhey wins $180,289, the $10,000 buy-in to the WSOP Main Event, $1,000 spending money in that event, and the WSOP Circuit gold and diamond ring. Merrifield takes home a nice consolation prize of $94,596.
