Day 3 Completed
Stevan "random_chu" Chew of Australia holds a dominant chip lead after Day 3 of WCOOP 91-H: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max, NLHE Main Event] in the 2021 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). Day 3 saw 72 surviving players from a field of 1,965 play down to the final nine and they will return on Wednesday September 15 to battle for the lion’s share of a guaranteed $10,000,000 prize pool.
Chew came into the day near the bottom part of the leaderboard with just over three million in chips and he found a magnificent run to coast to the lead on Day 3. After an early double with pocket kings through Anthony "holdplz" Spinella, Chew bounced in and out of the top part of the leaderboard for much of the day. The Day 3 chip leader was the first and only player to cross the 100 million chip mark and he finishes at 147,396,839, good for almost double his nearest competitor “necgaidziai” with 76,129,821.
