Day 1a is now complete. The bubble is burst and the other 234 players have made it to Day 2 and into the money. Standby for a recap on PokerNews.
Michal Schuh open raised from under the gun and Giuseppe Liotta moved all from middle position for 47,000. Schuh made the call. The hand was paused and another hand played out, but ended in a double up. The tournament director came over and players gathered around to see if the bubble would burst. Players flipped their cards, with Liotta at risk.
Giuseppe Liotta: A♠K♥
Michal Schuh: K♣J♥
Liotta had Schuh dominated with his ace king against Schuh's king jack. The board ran out 4♠9♣8♦10♥Q♥. Neutral players began to stir as the ten came, giving Schuh the straight draw. The queen completed the straight and Schuh won the pot. Cheers rang out as the realization set in.
Liotta was eliminated from the tournament and the bubble had burst. All other players have made it through to Day 2 and into the money.

Andras Matrai raised in early position to 14,000, Catalin Pop, to his direct left, three-bet to 34,000 and Matrai called.
Matrai check-called a bet of 20,000 from Pop on a flop of 5♠K♠2♠.
The 8♦ turn checked through to the 2♣ on the river. Matrai checked once more and Pop moved all in, putting Matrai to the test for, approximately, his last 110,000. After several minutes in the tank, Matrai made a huge call for his tournament life just a few players away from the money.
Pop tabled 6♥2♦ for trips while Matrai was sent to the rail with K♥J♥.
