Adam Krejcik, Managing Director of Digital and Interactive Gaming for Eilers Research, called the revenue increase a “slight disappointment” on Twitter:

Prior to the press release from the DGE, Krejcik said that a $10-$12 million win would’ve been “in line.” Anything less than $10 million would’ve been disappointing, and anything larger than $12 million would’ve been good.

Overall, Atlantic City showed a 9.2 percent decline in casino win compared to January of 2013. The DGE states that casino win was impacted by the Jan. 12 closing of the Atlantic Club Casino Hotel.
