DJ Buckley was the lucky player to grab the last seven-figure bounty on offer during Level 29 which was met with cheers, and some groans, from around the room.
Carson Richards sits second on the leaderboard with a stack of 74,600,000 and has just over $32,000 in tracked live tournament earnings according to Hendon Mob, which he has already eclipsed as he is guaranteed at least $36,550 come Day 3.
Michael Miller (PA) rounds out the top three stacks with 68,400,000 chips. Miller went on a rampage during the closing levels and first eliminated Prasad Vemulapalli then picked up another bounty after he sent Justin Vautrin to the rail. Miller collected another scalp after getting the better of Joshua Reichard to finish the day strong and put himself in a great position on Day 3.
The remaining 18 players will come back for Day 3 at 1:00 p.m. local time on June 4 and blinds will start at Level 40, 1,000,000/2,000,000 with a 2,000,000 big blind ante. With an average stack of just over 20 big blinds, the action is expected to be fast-paced. A new champion will be crowned and a bracelet will find a new home on the wrist of one of the remaining players, but only time will tell who it will be.

Carson Richards opened to 2,500,000 from middle position and Sandy Sanchez shoved all in for around 3,000,000 from the hijack. Oshri Azran then shoved all in from the big blind for around 14,000,000, and Richards called to give himself a chance at picking up two bounties.
Sandy Sanchez: A♣J♦
Oshri Azran: 4♥4♣
Carson Richards: A♠8♠
The flop of 5♠4♠Q♦ gave Azran a set but Richards picked up a flush draw.
