The penultimate day of Event #3: $25,000 GGMillion$ High Rollers Championship has concluded at the 2023 World Series of Poker Paradise. The third and final day will resume at 2 p.m. local time at Atlantis Resort in The Bahamas.
After two starting flights and an online flight, the event brought a total of 533 entries to the felt to generate a huge prize pool of $13,325,000. Only 80 players returned to Day 2 in the money and at the end of the day, only eight remained. Each remaining player has locked up $267,500, but all eyes will be on the WSOP bracelet and $2,726,300 first-place prize.
Leading the final eight players is Germany’s Daniel Smiljkovic with just over 51 big blinds when play resumes. Arunas Sapitavicius, Klemens Roiter, Matthew Stumpf, Frank Brannan, Damian Salas, Adrian Mateos, and Samuel Mullur round out the players who will be returning to the final table which is slated to be livestreamed on the GGPoker YouTube channel.

Mateos miraculously finds himself at the final table, even after having been down to one big blind earlier in the day. In a hand where Erik Seidel rivered a straight, Mateos was left with about 150,000 and spun it back up to return to the final day with an opportunity for a fifth bracelet.
Daniel Negreanu came into the day with hopes of a long-awaited seventh bracelet but he’ll have to wait another day. He got his chips in as a favorite against Sapitavicius, but Negreanu fell behind on the turn and was eliminated in 26th place.

Vladimir Minko raised to 1,000,000 from the cutoff and found a caller in Frank Brannan in the big blind before seeing the flop come 2♥7♠9♣.
Brannan checked over to Minko who continued with a bet for 600,000 only to see Brannan reach into his stack and come back out with a check raise to 1,500,000.
Minko paused for a moment but didn't need much time before deciding on jamming for 4,300,000 only to see Branna put in the snap-call to set up a runout with Minko the player at risk.
Vladimir Minko: J♦10♥
Frank Brannan: A♠A♥
Minko quickly got the bad news that Brannan had trapped with aces and would need to hit his gut-shot straight draw or go runner-runner to come from behind and extend his tournament run, but when the board ran out with the 4♠ and 5♠, Minko would be forced to stand up and exit the the tournament in 10th place for $164,900.
