The third and final flight of the 2020 Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) played to its conclusion Saturday, drawing 323 entries to bring the total number of entries up to 1,068 across the three Day 1 flights. When play finished for the evening, Scott Sisler had climbed to the top of the leader board, both for Day 1c and the overall field.
In total, 120 players advanced from the flight, adding their names to the 214 who already bagged from the first two flights. However, registration will remain open through the first two levels of Day 2 on Sunday, and a large line of people were waiting in line before play even finished on the evening, adding their names to the alternate list once Day 2 registration opened at the end of play on Day 1c.
Aaron Van Blarcum (337,000) also bagged a massive stack, finishing the day just shy of Sisler. Others to advance with above-average stacks included Ryan Phan (236,000), Nipun Java (145,500), Kyle Anderson (140,000), and Jorden Helstern (134,500).
Players such as Adam Demersseman, Ben Keeline, Blake Whittington, and Stanley Lee were less fortunate, though they will have one final shot at glory should they wish to take it as a Day-2 alternate. Day 2 will resume at 11 a.m. local time with 10 more one-hour levels on the docket and blinds resuming at 800/1,600/1,600.

There was 11,000 in the pot from preflop action with a board reading 
. Action was three ways with both the small blind and Matt Stout in the big blind checking to the player on the button, who bet 5,500. The small blind called and then Stout check-jammed for 30,000 exactly.
The player on the button called after confirming the amount and then the small blind sent his cards to the muck after a few moments of deliberation.

Stout's flopped wheel improved to a flush on the turn 
, but as a result, he found himself needing to fade five counterfeit outs. The river 
fell safe and Stout shipped the double.
On an adjacent table just moments later, Trevor Sather eliminated Darren Attebery after a runout of 
came with Attebery hitting a set of deuces and then seeing a two outer on the river give Sather a set of aces to send him to the rail just before the end of the night.

The tournament clock has been paused with 12 minutes remaining and dealers have been instructed to stop dealing at the end of the hand. Once play finishes on all tables, each table will play six more hands before play ends for the night with the celebratory bag 'n tag.

Scott Sisler has been the beneficiary of being on the right end of a couple of big hands during the last few orbits and has become the likely chip leader among the 120 players in action during the final level of the evening.
According to tablemate Vic Peppe, Sisler already had a sizeable stack and won a massive pot when his 
went to the river on a board of 
and got action from 
. He wasn't done yet, as a few hands later he won yet again with a set of nines to another player's top two pair.
Sisler now has 330,000 as a result of the two monster hands.

There was around 10,000 in the middle on a flop of 
and Andy Rogowski had check-raised a bet of 6,100 from a player in middle position to make it 35,000 total.
The player in middle position thought for several moments and then decided the bet was too much to call. With the pot, Rogowski now finds himself with double the starting stack and less than half a level of play remaining before chips go into bags.

Jorden Helstern was just seen with a stack of nearly 150,000 just moments after being seen having chipped up to 82,000. He confirmed that he knocked the player to his left out of the tournament and Pat Steele helped fill in the fuzzy details from the hand prior.
