Only six players out of a field of 879 entries remain in the 2019 PokerStars EPT Open Sochi RUB133,000 Main Event (~$2,040) at the stunning Casino Sochi in the Krasnaya Polyana region near the slopes of the former Olympic Winter Games host city.
The lion's share of the RUB103,370,400 (more than $1.6 million) prize pool is still up for grabs and Giorgiy Skhulukhiya is the commanding chip leader heading into the final day.
Skhulukhiya claimed 11,715,000 to his name, more than three times his nearest rival, as Yi Ye follows in second place with 3,240,000. Trailing them are four players virtually tied and within two big blinds including Lidiya Kozenkova (2,910,000), Natalia Panchenko (2,895,000), Abdul Mamin Abdal Ali Han (2,780,000) and Egor Sukhov (2,680,000).

The festival concludes today and also features Day 2 of the RUB257,600 High Roller, which attracted a big field off 116 entries and has 23 hopefuls remaining, as well as the RUB10,500 "Moneymaker's Road to PSPC". Hosted by PokerStars ambassador Chris Moneymaker, the event played down to 5% on both starting days and will crown a champion today who will receive a Platinum Pass valued at more than €26,000 Platinum Pass for the 2020 PokerStars Players NL Hold'em Championship (PSPC) in Barcelona.

Abdul Mamin Abdal Ali Han raised from under the gun and was called by Lidiya Kozenkova from one seat over, Yi Ye on the button and Egor Sukhov in the big blind. Han bet the flop for 250,000 and Kozenkova was the only caller.
After the turn, Han bet again, for 275,000 this time. Kozenkova raised to 725,000 and forced a reluctant fold.

Han then open-shoved the button and Natalia Panchenko in the big blind asked for a count. The all in was for 1,685,000 and no call followed.
One hand later, Skhulukhiya opened to 210,000 first to act and Han called. They checked the flop and Skhulukhiya bet the turn for 175,000, Han came along. On the river both checked and Skhulukhiya tabled to scoop the pot, as Han sent his cards into the muck.

Yi Ye added some chips to his stack and the next to make a move was Natalia Panchenko, who opened to 230,000 with Abdul Mamin Abdal Ali Han in the big blind. Giorgiy Skhulukhiya on the button three-bet to 755,000 and that forced folds all around.
Up next, Egor Sukhov raised the button to 225,000 and Han forfeited the small blind to drop to around 13 big blinds.

Egor Sukhov raised to 225,000 from under the gun and Lidiya Kozenkova three-bet to 725,000 on the button to force a fold. Sukhov raised again the next hand and won the blinds and big blind ante.
Yi Ye then raised twice in a row. First, he got through when making it 210,000 and then he was on the cutoff and raised to 350,000. Giorgiy Skhulukhiya on the button moved all-in for an effective stack of 4 million, Ye folded.

A battle of the blinds between Yi Ye and Giorgiy Skhulukhiya, the completed board showed and there were 1.4 million in the middle. Ye was in the tank, facing a bet of 925,000 by Skhulukhiya. Two minutes passed and Skhulukhiya suddenly started grinning to the rail, which even made Ye smile and resulted in a call a few seconds later.
Skhulukhiya then burst out laughing as he tabled the for trips and cemented his status as the runaway chip leader.
One hand later, Lidiya Kozenkova raised to 250,000 and folded to a shove by Skhulukhiya, revealing her .
