Well, it's been fast and it's been furious. In eight short levels the field has been whittled down from 182 to just 42 players, and with 56 places playing out we are now well inside the money.
Those who fell short of the cash include such luminaries as Day 1a chip leader Annette Obrestad and Day 1a second chip leader Arnaud Mattern, both Paganos, and top Hungarian player and two-time EPT runner-up Denes Kalo. Those making the cash but not Day 3 included Sorel Mizzi, Danny Ryan, and EPT Live's own Kara Scott.

Ionel Anton was all in and racing with against Christoph Haller's pocket deuces. Haller turned a set and Anton's hand did not improve. He was eliminated in 46th.
All in preflop with against Lukas Benkovic's , Tristan Clemencon's defeat could not have been much more emphatic as the flop came down , leaving him drawing dead and out in 49th place.
