Arian Kashani is an Iranian poker player based in the UK and is best known for winning the 2024 PokerStars UKIPT Nottingham Main Event for £201,900.
Kashani's first recorded live score came in October 2015 but 2023 was his breakout year. In April 2023, Kashani was the runner-up in the £444 buy-in 888poker LIVE London Mini 888 event for a career-best £28,140. He enjoyed another runner-up finish and a fourth-place at the same festival.
In May 2023, Kashani won the £1,500 GUKPT Edinburgh High Roller for a new career high £43,800. Kashani was the runner-up in the £560 GUKPT London Midi Main Event in August 2023 for £32,230 and then banked £27,720 by winning the £3,000 Super High Roller at GUKPT Luton a month later.
Kashani started 2024 in good form, helping himself to the £18,980 third-place prize of the £560 888poker UKPL Coventry Main Event. He then chopped the £1,100 WSOPC UK Main Event at Dusk Till Dawn and received £73,295 in March before winning a €1,100 NLHE Turbo tournament at the 2024 Irish Open in April for €33,460.
An 11th-place finish in the PokerStars EPT Cyprus Main Event in October earned Kashani $73,100, before he took down the £1,100 UKIPT Nottingham Main Event in November for £201,900, his first six-figure haul.
