New Jersey's "PeoplesChamp" was this week's biggest winner in the Garden State, outlasting the 152-player field in the WSOP.com/888poker NJ Sunday $35,000 Guarantee to win $9,450. The runner-up in this tournament was "weweweasel", who won $6,300 for his efforts.
Also scoring big was "COLDWARKID", winning the WSOP.com NJ $25,000 GTD Online Championships Event #23 for $8,928. Jake "schaf4206" Schafer took second place for $5,022 in this tournament which witnessed 47 players ponying up the $500 entry fee.
However, it was the fourth place finisher, William "Billson" Gallagher, stealing the headlines. Gallagher not only finished in fourth place in this tournament for $2,930, but also finished on top of the 221-player field in the partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com $50,000 Guarantee to win $7,548 after agreeing to a four-way deal with "Zdvol632" (2nd - $6,281), Jamie "JamieKerstetter" Kerstetter (3rd - $6,080), and "Temhigh" (4th - $5,951).
Meanwhile on 888poker NJ, it was Fred "Plantleaf" Ferrell finishing on top of the 37-player field in The Big Sunday for $3,500.
