Bryn Kenney Wins $188,800 on PokerStars After Busting From PCA Super High Roller
After busting from the $100,000 Super High Roller at PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2014 (PCA), Bryn "BrynKenney" Kenney decided to skip the swimming pool and get on what became a very rewarding online session.
Rather than taking some time off from the game after losing a crucial all in against Vanessa Selbst, Kenney jumped on PokerStars' 2-7 Triple Draw online tables and played his way to the top, closing the day as the biggest winner with a $188,800 payday.
Most of Kenney's winnings came from a two-hour session of $1,000/$2,000 2-7 Triple Draw against chess-master Eugene "oogee" Yanayt, which ended up costing the latter $240,000.
On the Full Tilt Poker side, Tuesday's biggest winner was Cort “thecortster” Kibler-Melby , who closed the day with a $156,000 payday after spending most of his session at the Triple Draw tables against Patrick Antonius. Kibler-Melby won $100,000 during two 40-minute heads-up sessions at the $1,000/$2,000 table against Antonius.
There was also good news for Full Tilt Poker's Gus Hansen, as after losing $400,000 few days ago, Hansen managed to put his 2014 back on track by ending the day with a profit of $91,500.
Things went differently for another member of the Full Tilt Poker team, as Viktor "Isildur1" Blom recorded a $132,000 loss which brings his 2014 balance down to -$335,961 after 12,816 hands played.
